Vampires, sun gods, and elves; what?

Welcome to February… New readers, hello and welcome! The world is on fire right now and whether you are a long time subscriber or brand new, I hope my books give you a respite from the blaze. My February started with my dog Daemon having a third seizure in less than three months. For those that are not familiar with what that means, it is one of the criteria for diagnosing epilepsy in dogs. His vet came by and drew blood to get his labs going and have a baseline for him as well as make sure that it wasn’t an organ doing weird things and causing the seizures. It was not. My doggo has epilepsy
and we are now adjusting to new things. FYI, if you are ever around a dog having a seizure, give them space. They are having a factory reset via an electrical storm in their brain and it leaves them confused and reasonably afraid. So give them space when they come out of the seizure, let them come to you when they are ready, some dogs will be aggressive for a time after (in the postictal period). For those of you that haven’t seen my Daemon, here he is: Now, on to other things, like books. All the news here. A Dream of Wolves will release at the end of this month. That is book two in the Warriors of the Old Gods series. And next month, Wolf Goddess releases. That is part of the Her Violent Silence series, in the feminist revenge horror genre. However, if you need something light and fun, have I got the recommend for you! โ That’s all for now, I hope February and the world are kind to you and that we can keep up the fight, all of us. โ Rhiannon |
